The Future of the Internet......What will it look like in 10 years?

Satellite WiFi-  In the future telecommunications technology companies, will be fighting for market share of the internet service market around the world. They will either launch more satellites in space or use existing ones to project WiFi hot spots around the world, so there could be internet access across the globe. One company is already providing this service, they are Iridium. The hot spot will cost about US $800 and data rates will vary depending on the Iridium airtime plan, and speeds will be low, about 20 kilo bits per second. (Williams,2014). If More companies start to provide this service it will inevitably become more cheaper and faster. Thus, resulting in internet access everywhere, and no one will be secluded from using the internet. This will also, make broadband internet less demanded, and it may even make data plans, that certain service providers provide obsolete.
